XBOX 360...AWOL

It's been three weeks and I'm still on the hunt for an XBOX 360. I've now resorted to going to Target every morning this week at open, since there's going to be a rumored "third shipment" this week.

This is getting ridiculous. And the most irritating part, is that eveywhere that gets them is selling out because retail managers are buying up their supplies and selling them on eBay. (See picture below)

There's a clan of 5 or 6 "housewives" (the politest term I could think of) that are banging down Target's doors every morning to get one for their kid for Christmas. They're like the "Cabbage Patch Kids Moms" from back in the 80s. They're all obsessive and sprint-walk to the Electronics department as soon as the store opens.

Funny...I don't remember myself or any of my friends getting $400 Christmas presents. Are the days of jumper cables and boxer shorts over?

Oh well, I'll keep trying. I refuse to buy one from eBay...The thrill of the chase is part of the fun.

I'll get one. It may be next Christmas, but I'll get one.

Best...Game...Ever

Okay maybe not THE best game ever, but damn close.

I just beat God of War, for the Playstation2, and I am amazed at how great of a game it was. The puzzles rivaled the first Tomb Raider. The battles and controls were super clean and smooth. The story was even great, and the graphics looked better than the Xbox.

I have a subscription to Gamefly, which is kind of like Netflix, for gamers. The cool thing is that if you dig a game that you currently have rented from them, you can go to their site and click "Keep It", and they'll charge you another $25 and send you the original box and instructions. I'm keeping this one.

Sorry to geek out on a game, but I can't email SCEA and tell them how much I loved their game, so I needed some way to get it off my chest.
